The question is; are men and women as different as we thought and could this be down to our biological breakdown and our brains? Or is it society that's telling us to act certain ways depending on our gender? 

"We have different roles in life and I think that's why our brains are wired differently...these differences are hard wired in our brains..."

It is said we are born with certain brains, male and female, but is it the result of nature? Or nurture?  Many people believe that men and women's brains are different which is what causes us to have subtle differences in our personalities. Most stereotypes are brought to light from fact and at some point were true in some sense, women are stereo-typically maternal and sensitive and men are known to be strong and dominant, but these characteristics were once a true fact but over the years more and more people are going against the stereotypes in the modern day, as some of these stereotypes were from a certain time period where it doesn't come into play. It's said that stereotypes are instinctive. Overall, men and women are different. It's a fact. But why is this? That is the question we are trying to uncover.

Scientists have researched into this topic and discovered that hormones may play a part in gender differences and help shape our unique behavior. Another observation was that men and women have different neural pathways which come about when you're a teenager. What was confusing was that babies and children don't have these pathways, but after researching into different age groups from different genders, scientists were able to come to the conclusion that these neural pathways are made when you become a teenager. Scientists have also found out many other interesting facts about our differences, for example: male brains tend to be 10% larger than that of a women's, and that differences in both sexes could be due to how we were developed in the womb.
